I seek to engage with the visual wonder of changing land, time and tide. Through the lens, the world may stop, but begins again fresh in our eyes.
I don't know why I create the images I do. Exploring a location brings the awe of seeing new beautiful or dramatic things that just appeal to something in me. The beauty, flow and power of the sea, landscapes, nature and people, from the intimate to the panoramic, these are the things I enjoy capturing.
I enjoy developing images that engage the eye - creating a visual flow and balance hoping to spark an emotional connection. I am also drawn to creating the impressionistic and abstract. These feelings and emotion are enhanced by the use of time.
